The Opal Collection Northeast is seeking energetic and creative Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs for our 2021 season who can lead the kitchen team of busy, fast paced restaurants. The right candidate will have experience in a in a high volume, kitchen operations. Candidate must have a passion for food and cookery while understanding the business aspect of the restaurant. The right candidate is a hands-on working chef who thrives in a busy environment, leads by example and can develop and teach young culinarians to cook great hand crafted cuisine. General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision. Ability to run a high volume line with multiple cooking stations is a must. Candidate must have experience in ordering managing a food inventory. The successful candidate will be organized, confident individual with a minimum of two years kitchen experience in a supervisory role. This individual must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a very fast-moving kitchen, and the ability to meet the expectations of a high demand restaurant. |
