The Edgartown Yacht Club is a private club located in Edgartown, Massachusetts on Martha's Vineyard. We serve a membership of 1000 members and their families lunch and dinner in 2 separate dining rooms. One dining room is a more casual fare for quick lunch that will serve around 120-150 lunches a day. The other dining room is a more upscale dining room serving lunch to 50-80 people a day and dinner for 150-200 members a night. We focus mainly on New England seafood with some French, Italian, Spanish and Asian dishes peppered in also. We try to use as much local product as possible working with local fisherman, oysterman, and lobsterman as well as getting local dairy, meats, cheeses, and vegetables.
The Edgartown Yacht club is looking for line cooks and prep cooks for the 2021 summer season starting on May 24th. Lunch and dinner shift available. Pay is 16-19$ an hour depending on position and we can provide a limited amount of housing. We are looking for you to be able to;
Maintain a clean and organized work space and head space. Have good sanitation practices. Have fundamental knife skills and cooking practices. Enjoy your job

Additional Salary Information: Housing is paid for a limited amount of cooks with a 300$ deposit
About Edgartown Yacht Club
Edgartown Yacht Club is a private club located in Edgartown, Massachusetts on Martha's Vineyard. We are a private club feeding 1000 members and it's families for two meal services. We serve New England seafood with notes of French, Asian, Italian, and Spanish dishes peppered into the menu. The club has a summer season from late May until mid October with events on occasional holidays throughout the winter. The team is built of an Executive chef, two sous chefs and a pastry chef that help a team of 15 culinarians achieve the goals of the team.
