Pastry Chef
The Pastry Chef is responsible under the direction of the Executive Chef and Chef d' Cuisine for preparing quality baked & pastry items for club restaurants, banquets, and special events. Previous baking from scratch experience is required, as well as the knowledge of knowing when it is not beneficial to make an item from scratch. Must be able to read, understand, and execute banquet event orders and written directions. The Pastry Chef will participate in menu planning for dessert items and should be interested in creating new and unique items. Staying up to date with current trends, techniques and modern plating is important. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the following items: Breakfast Pastries, Cakes, Tortes, Tarts, Pies, Ice Creams, Sorbets, Mousses, Verrines
