Job Description: The culinarianwill be a consummate professional that is motivated, hardworking, energetic, experienced and fully capable of working and contributing to a busy scratch kitchen operation. The The culinarian will work a varied schedule that will include am and pm shifts and up to any day of the week. We are open for lunch and dinner 5 days a week and brunch on Sunday. Closed on Monday and Tuesday so that we can all recharge! We have a new organic gardener on our team that is eagerly waiting to work with our culinary team and collaborate on what our team would like planted for the late summer and fall in our chef’s garden. In addition to this we have an apiary and a certified bee keeper on staff. We are located in a rural community just north of Charlotte and Winston-Salem, NC. We are located just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounded by countless acres of our established Vineyard and winery. If you are interested in being part of an amazing farm to table operation do not hesitate in responding to us. The Chief Operating Officer of the company is a certified Executive chef and a member of the American Academy of Chef. He is also an ACF Judge, has multiple gold medals and has competed and medaled in three Culinary Olympics. We are currently searching for a new executive chef to lead our Culinary operation. Culinary school or ACF apprentice. A desire to be the best culinarian you can be. Excited to be in this profession. You must be a passionate culinarian. If food does not excite you, please do not waste our time.

We are the largest estate winery in North Carolina. Our founders were instrumental in getting the Yadkin Valley AVA established in NC. Our property is at 1000 acres. We have a farm to table award winning restaurant located at the winery.
The Harvest Grill at Shelton Vineyards has two indoor dining rooms and a new outdoor patio. We are open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Saturday and we offer Sunday brunch. In addition to our restaurant we host a large number of destination style weddings and events at the vineyard. We host a summer concert series at the vineyard as well.
