Middle Georgia’s second largest conference venue is seeking an energetic individual with superior leadership, customer service, and communication skills to manage this facility. The Anderson Conference Center features over 15,000 square feet of conference center space including a large banquet hall and eight conference rooms, and a high casual Bistro. This space can accommodate up to 1000 people and is equipped with state-of-the-art multi-media/AV. The catering kitchen exceeds 6,000 square feet and is managed by certified executive chefs. The Hospitality Operations Manager will be responsible for oversight of hospitality events to include on/off site banquet and catering operations, restaurant, management to provide a vibrant learning environment for students of Helms College Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality/culinary arts, with three plus years of progressive F&B senior management experience. Superior P&L/financial management skills are required. Experience teaching in post-secondary academic environment preferred. Interest and capabilities to grow business and people to their full potential and desire to be part of Goodwill’s faith-based mission is necessary.
