The Director of Food and Beverage Operations will be responsible for all current and future food and beverage outlets on the 2,000-acre property. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to menu development, production systems, purchasing and vendor negotiation, staffing and scheduling, employee evaluation, training, quality control, cost control and adherence to budget, internal and external communication, and building an exciting brand around the possibilities for the property.
Fort Ticonderoga is about to engage in a significant expansion of purpose that will include a strong, unique, and quality focused food and beverage program for on property restaurants and event catering. The right candidate for the Food and Beverage position will have an opportunity to help create and implement a dynamic program that will define the fort as a food and beverage destination.
Required: Candidates must be seasoned professionals with a minimum of five years’ experience in food and beverage management, a track record of success, solid communication skills, even temperament, experience with budget management, and an understanding of food production systems and service.
