The Country Club of North Carolina – Executive Chef Opportunity
The Country Club of North Carolina (CCNC), a premier member-owned private golf and country club, is looking for an Executive Chef to manage culinary operations across its multiple club venues. This is an opportunity to live and work in the golf mecca of Pinehurst, a place perennially ranked as the safest city in North Carolina and among the top-ranked places to live and raise a family in the Tarheel state. A consistent schedule (two days off most weeks), newly updated facilities featuring over $7M invested in kitchen and dining areas, support for education and career development, and regular national publicity for the Executive Chef and the culinary team are just a few of the benefits of the position. The Country Club of North Carolina Overview
Established in 1963, CCNC is a private, member-owned country club located in the “Home of American Golf”, the Village of Pinehurst. The unique club structure at this 36-hole facility consists of roughly 40 percent resident members inside the gates of a 2,000-acre community and the remaining 60 percent spread throughout the rest of North Carolina and 28 other states, often serving as a second club and vacation getaway. The robust amenities beyond golf include multiple dining outlets and bars, lakeside pool complex, 8 har-tru clay tennis courts, four pickleball courts, fitness center, vacation rental homes, walking trails, and fishing and boating on over 100 acres of lakes.
CCNC’s highly ranked golf courses have a championship-rich history that includes hosting PGA Tour events, three USGA national championships (most recently the 2021 U.S. Junior Amateur), seven Southern Amateur Championships and numerous statewide amateur championships. The next of those championships coming to CCNC will be the ACC Men’s Championship in April of 2023.

Food and Beverage Operations
The Bistro, located in the main clubhouse, underwent a complete remodel in 2020 and serves as the primary a la carte restaurant for the club. Open five nights per week for dinner, three for lunch, and Sunday brunch. Includes indoor and outdoor seating plus bar and lounge. Multiple outdoor terraces have direct lake and golf course views.
The Dornoch Grille, located on the main campus near the clubhouse, was built in 2016 and serves as the club’s more casual restaurant and halfway house. The Grille is open for breakfast and lunch seven days per week (7:00am – 5:00pm) and includes a bar/lounge and indoor and outdoor seating with direct golf course views.
The Royal Dornoch Ballroom, located in the main clubhouse, has just reopened following a 2022 remodel and serves as the space for the club’s banquet and event functions.
The Pool Café, featuring a limited a la carte menu and beverages, is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
