Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a world-class golf resort rooted in our founder’s dream of bringing links golf as it was meant to be to the rugged shores of Oregon. The resort is located along the southern Oregon coast in the small community of Bandon. We are growing and anticipate a new restaurant opening this summer. This Role:
This is a new position to complement our current Executive Sous Chefs. Works with the Executive Chef and team members supervising food production for all Restaurants property-wide, banquet events, and other functions at the Resort. Serves as “second-in-command” of the culinary department in the absence of the Executive Chef. The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for all aspects of the kitchens and works directly with the Executive Chef and outlet Chefs on menu planning, operations, financial responsibility, food quality, consistency, guest experience, and employee supervision. The Executive Sous Chef provides leadership training and hands-on management of the kitchen staff. Maximize guest experience and maintain our vision while achieving revenue targets and managing costs.
Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of previous experience in a similar role. They will demonstrate a positive and professional manner and be a role model for other staff members.

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is heralded as one of the best golf resorts in the country, with all five courses ranked among the Top 100. Founder Mike Keiser had the vision to create an American golf experience similar to the classic seaside links in Great Britain and Ireland. The first course at the resort, Bandon Dunes, opened on May 19, 1999. Since then, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and Sheep Ranch have all been added to its legendary list of courses and memorable golf experiences.
The Southwestern Oregon Coast enjoys moderate temperatures year-round, with clear skies and sunshine between June and September, and a combination of sunshine and rain during the winter months (November to April). Temperatures range between 60° F (15° C) and 70° (21° C) on the coast the majority of the summer.
Bandon is a small coastal community that offers a wide range of activities within the local area. Camping, hiking, fishing, crabbing, beachcombing, and golfing are popular activities. Bandon's Old Town provides an eclectic mix of boutiques, art, restaurants, and bars.
