About Bandon:
Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a world-class golf resort rooted in our founder’s dream of bringing links golf as it was meant to be to the rugged shores of Oregon. The resort is located along the southern Oregon coast in the small community of Bandon. We are growing and anticipate a new restaurant opening this summer. Our successful candidates enjoy small towns, and the abundant outdoor activities in the area, providing our guests with genuine hospitality, golf, and more golf.
This Role:
This is a new position to complement our current Executive Sous Chefs. Works with the Executive Chef and team members supervising food production for all Restaurants property-wide, banquet events, and other functions at the Resort. Serves as “second-in-command” of the culinary department in the absence of the Executive Chef. The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for all aspects of the kitchens and works directly with the Executive Chef and outlet Chefs on menu planning, operations, financial responsibility, food quality, consistency, guest experience, and employee supervision. The Executive Sous Chef provides leadership training and hands-on management of the kitchen staff. Maximize guest experience and maintain our vision while achieving revenue targets and managing costs.
Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of previous experience in a similar role. They will demonstrate a positive and professional manner and be a role model for other staff members.
