Job Summary: The Memorial Union is looking for a full time Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This position will report to the Associate Executive Chef and will oversee all second shift kitchen production. Duties include ordering and receiving product, menu planning, food preparation, supervising and training staff, and overseeing the dish room. This position will also monitor adherence to local and state food safety guidelines and field any questions from our guests or service staff. Our culinary team runs a multi-department, fast-paced kitchen where you will be expected to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and maintain food quality while meeting production demands.
