This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary professional. Working as part of a team of F & B managers and reporting to the Executive Chef and Chef de Cusine, the Sous Chef’s responsibilities include assisting in operations for a full-service F & B program that includes upscale casual and formal dining, banquet operations, and resort style concessions. F & B revenues exceed $2M for just 350 family memberships.
Congress Lake is an exclusive private country club located in the greater Akron/Cleveland metropolitan area. The Club, one of the oldest in Ohio, has about 375 members and features a 900-acre property with 87 upscale residences; a Donald Ross designed golf course; 300 acre private lake for boating, sailing, and fishing; a resort style swimming pool, racquet sports including 6 Har-tru courts, 2 platform courts, and tennis facility; and a 50,000 square foot clubhouse with indoor and outdoor dining, banquet facilities, 10 overnight guest rooms, 2 kitchens, and other F & B outlets.

Additional Salary Information: •Starting Base Salary of 40,000 or more DOE with annual performance and salary review

The Congress Lake Club is an exclusive private club unique amongst most country clubs. Located in the Greater Akron/Canton/Cleveland metropolitan area, Congress Lake was founded in 1880 and incorporated as the Congress Lake Club by its founding member, President William McKinley in 1896.
