A privately owned club has openings for both Head and Sous Chefs. We are located in Northern Wisconsin on a peninsula surrounded by the waters of Lac Courte Oreilles. With over 100 years in the making, the private dining serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) for seven weeks from the end of June to mid-August. The club is exclusive to the 12 cabin owners with their family and guests. Average daily guest count is 30 with high peak around 70. Breakfast and lunch are each one hour of menu orders. Dinner is an elevated buffet style.
The serving staff is responsible for daily fruit, salad, and sandwich bar set up.
Head chef works with manager for menu planning and food production. Sous chef will assist head chef with food preparation and daily baking. Breakfast and lunch are typical fair. Dinners offer a selected meat with starch and vegetables.
Must be willing and able to accommodate dietary needs such as gluten and dairy free options. Along with specific allergen requests as needed.
Strong culinary skills. Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Cool head under pressure. Able to communicate needs to serving staff and management. Complete food orders in a timely manner. Follow all proper food safety, health, and handling regulations. Weekly menu and ingredient planning. General maintenance and cleaning affiliated with position. Bring your creativity.
WISMO is a privately owned club that offers dining services during the summer months. We have on site accommodations available for the Head and Sous Chefs. This is a great summer gig to add to your resume while enjoying the lake and beauty of Northern Wisconsin. We offer seven weeks of food service to the cabin owners and their families. Average guest service is 30 with high peak around 70.

Weekly pay with bonus option after 7-week fulfillment.
End of June to mid-August commitment with days before and after food service for preparation and clean up.
