The Treasurer manages all financial affairs of the chapter. This elected leadership role ensures fiscal responsibility, transparency, and compliance while supporting the chapter’s educational mission and the success of NESCAT.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and deposit all chapter funds.
Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
Prepare monthly financial reports and year-end statements.
Ensure full compliance with ACF and ACFEF financial policies.
Present financial statements to the Executive Committee and general membership.
Collaborate with the Chapter President and other officers on budgeting for events, scholarships, and NESCAT activities.
Qualifications
Current Professional or Supporting Member of the American Culinary Federation (preferred).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in financial record-keeping.
Experience in nonprofit or association financial management (preferred).
Commitment to the mission of the ACF and the advancement of student culinarians.
Term Elected position per chapter bylaws (typically 1–2 years).
Requirement: Professional Membership in the American Culinary Federation (ACF) is required. World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) membership is strongly encouraged and may be required for certain leadership roles supporting NESCAT.
