The American Academy of Chefs Chapter Chair (AAC Chapter Director) position at ACF New England Culinary Institute Chapter, Inc. under the Auspices of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) is a prestigious role that requires a seasoned professional dedicated to promoting excellence in the culinary profession. As the appointed/elected Chair, the individual will represent and advocate for AAC Fellows within the chapter, coordinate local AAC activities and events, promote mentorship, leadership, and professional excellence, handle awards nominations, and nurture professional development opportunities. This role involves maintaining close communication with the Regional AAC Director to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
The ideal candidate must hold a Professional Membership in the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and must be an AAC Fellow. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing the highest standards of the culinary profession, possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, and ideally be a member of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the local culinary community and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Joining our team as the AAC Chapter Director provides a platform to drive positive change, mentor aspiring chefs, recognize outstanding talent, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the culinary profession.
Professional Membership in the American Culinary Federation (ACF) is required.
Must be an AAC Fellow.
